Extreme weather events\nextremes are becoming more frequent and intense, leading to a real\nreal climate crisis. Climate is determined by the sum and frequency of weather events, and what we are experiencing is an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme events such as floods, droughts, and heat waves. This climate crisis is leading our planet to experience a kind of permanent fever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>The importance of trees in <\/strong><strong>fighting climate change<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Let\u2019s first clear the air of any misunderstanding. The first thing we need to do to combat climate change is to reduce as much as possible, and as soon as possible, all CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In this journey to combat climate change, trees are valuable valuable allies. Through photosynthesis, they capture carbon dioxide (CO2) and release oxygen, thus helping to reduce CO2 levels<br>in the atmosphere. Each tree can capture about five to ten kilograms of CO2 per year, which is crucial considering that each European citizen emits about seven tons of CO2 each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>WOWnature\u2019s action in the <\/strong><strong>nature conservation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>WOWnature is committed to caring for the environment by offering two main actions. Each of us can actively contribute by planting<br>trees, participating in reforestation projects and reducing the impacts of our lifestyle.
